Happy Birthday Lily Kate!!!

Today is the day.  At 4:35 pm Lily Kate will be 2 years old!!!  I tried to snap a few pics this morning, but Lily Kate will not cooperate anymore.  Oh well.  Here she is, the 2 year old Lily Kate!

Here she is calling her BFF, Peanut Butter the cat...

Happy Birthday my sweet baby!

We love you,
Mama, Dada, and Wucy

Easter x2

We had a "Resurrection Party" with our church the day before Easter.  It was another fun party and a beautiful day.  Lily Kate had a great time, and is officially a professional egg hunter.

Here are the younger ones eagerly awaiting for the fun to begin...

Lily Kate quickly discovered that these eggs have candy in them, just like the ones at Ninnie's church.

And once she realized they had candy, she kept the candy and chunked the eggs!

Since Lily Kate had this down pat, she helped the others find eggs.  I was so proud that she was sharing and not snatching!

This is her friend Lexi...

Poor Lucy slept the entire time we were there.  She didn't wake up, therefore she never got out of her car seat!

This is Lily Kate's favorite thing to do when she gets her bucket full of eggs.  She dumps them out!

and plays with them...

This pic is quite blurry, but I love to see her running!  She gets so excited and comes and tells me " I run Mama, I run!"

Saturday night sweet "EBoo" helped dye eggs...

Taylor helped.  Or maybe I should say that Taylor cracked some eggs, he wasn't very careful with them.

Poppy and Lucy Cullen watched...

Easter morning, the girls had a basket full of new toys!

Lucy loved her new giraffe rattle.

And Lily Kate loved her bunny bubbles...

Mimi and Johnny Gramps met us at church.  I tried to keep Lily Kate in the service with us, but that just didn't go as planned.  I had to take her to the nursery, and she has gotten where she won't let me leave.  And since we are all in the same huge room and can hear her screaming when I try to leave, I just stay and help.  Then Lucy got hungry and I realized I left her bottle at home.  So Taylor and Lily Kate stayed in the nursery and Lucy and I left early.  Easter memories!

Lily Kate started off wanting to hold Lucy...

and like before, it quickly turned to not wanting to hold her!

Wow, are we really all 4 dressed nice and looking in the same direction (almost)???  YAY!!!

Now I am not vein or anything, but I have noticed that I have a million pics of Taylor with the girls and not many of me with them.  So I took this opportunity to have a few of just the girls and me.  Lily Kate got a little silly at this point...

What, and a few of just Taylor and me...  yay again!

Here are a few of Mimi and Johnny Gramps...

Lily Kate had cheesed enough.  It was now time for her to run a little...

And Lucy wasn't thrilled about more pics either...

Off to Mamaw's for Easter lunch, and more hunting eggs!

Lily Kate found a hard-boiled egg, and it made her mad.  She tried and tried to open it and find the candy, but couldn't!  So she threw that egg and looked for more!

There is a beautiful lake across from Mamaw's, and look who walked down there...

 and then she saw me...

 a few more family pics...

 and then a break, with some M & M's!

 a few more with me...

I have a pic holding Lily Kate just like this one...

Our last stop of the night was at Ninnie and Poppy's.  We played outside and ate hamburgers.  A wonderful way to end a wonderful day!

Lily Kate looooves to ride the bike!

Look at that egg...  and Lily Kate said "it fall down"...

Somebody liked her punch ball, even before it was blown up!

Happy Easter!
