It is so important to remember that Easter is about our risen Lord and Savior. It's ok to have fun and hunt eggs, but we need to keep Jesus first. God sent His son Jesus to die on the cross to save us from our sins. Then he rose from the dead and is alive today, hallelujah! Thank you Lord for loving me so!
Lily Kate loooooved the Easter Bunny. She saw him twice and both times she was so excited and told him "hey bunny" over and over and over. I am so glad that she is not scared of him or Santa. Lucy Cullen might be a different story though!
Our first Easter party was at Ninnie's church. We had such a great time. They had activities, some guest singers, an egg hunt, lunch, and the Easter story.
Pics with the Easter bunny were in the front section, and when Lily Kate went through the double doors to the activities area her eyes lit up and she ran to the fun. meets no strangers and is not shy at all!
This was supposed to be an egg toss, but Lily Kate decided she was going to cook the eggs...
This is my silly Lily...
Lucy Cullen was happy as can be...
Ninnie loved on Lucy while we chased the wild one...
Daddy enjoyed the festivities too, especially lunch!
always smiling! |
Lily Kate caught on quickly how to hunt eggs...
Lucy Cullen even found an egg!
Then Lily Kate realized that the eggs were filled with candy...
This is Ann Marie. Her mama and I have been best friends since we were this age. Aren't they so cute together!!
Here are a few pics from after church on April 1. It was such a beautiful day, why not snap some pics of our beautiful girls. Lily Kate started out wanting to hold Lucy...
but it quickly changed to not wanting to hold Lucy...
I'll be so glad (and so sad) when Lucy can sit up. It just makes for such better pics!!! Daddy is propping her up and I tried to crop his hand out...
Two silly girls! |
ok, more Easter pics coming. As soon as I can find my camera cord so I can download them!!!
