A visit with Paw Paw!

Paw Paw (Taylor's Dad), Aunt Shelby, and Aunt Sydney came all the way from Nashville to visit Lucy when she was 4 days old.  Lucy was supposed to be the main attraction, but somehow Lily Kate stole the show.  She loved playing and being silly with her aunts, and Lucy loved being held and loved on.

We love our visits with family, but they are never long enough!  Thanks for coming to visit Paw Paw, Aunt Shelby, and Aunt Sydney!  Hopefully one day we can make it to Nashville!

Ella's Birthday!

What, has it already been a year since Ella's last birthday???  Time flies!  This year Ella decided on a "Ladybug" birthday party at Kid's Kingdom (one of our local parks).  When we were planning, we weren't sure how the weather was going to be for an outside party...  but it turned out to be perfect.  It was absolutely beautiful, just the right temperature, and there was a small breeze.  Thank you Lord!

A few pics of "The birthday girl"!

With her oh so loving brother...

And her super daddy...

And her oh so silly cousin...

Party pics:

And her favorite gift:  cowgirl boots from her Daddy and Gage!

This was Lily Kate's first trip to the park and she had a BLAST!!!  Thank goodness for Poppy, because he chased her the whole time.  (Daddy stayed home with Lucy so Lily Kate and I could go party!)  She was non stop and wanted to go everywhere!

Lily Kate loved sliding with Gage...

Look at the static in their hair!!!
And being silly with Ninnie...

And winding in and out of the castle...

And her favorite was swinging!!!  She stayed in the swing forever...

and did NOT want to get out when it was time to go home...

This is Miss Social Lily Kate waving to the little girl swinging beside her.  Her name was also Lily and she was 17 months old.  Lily Kate was about a head taller than she was and kept calling her baby.  She meets a new friend everywhere she goes!

Ok I saved the best for last.  This is my newest favorite pic of Lily Kate.  Look at those beautiful eyes!  She liked laying in the rocks and so I snapped this upside down pic...

Happy Birthday Ella!  We love you and can't wait for another birthday!

Halloween fun...

I can't believe that Halloween 2011 is over.  I looked forward to it for months, knowing that I would have both of my girls to dress up.  We had a fun weekend, even though we didn't do very much.  Saturday night we went to Monticello to see Grandmommy and Aunt Julie at their Trunk-or-Treat.  Taylor stayed in the truck with Lucy while I took Lily Kate to visit.  We didn't stay long because it was cold!  Lily Kate loved seeing everybody (she is so social!) and the bean bag toss was her favorite.  I didn't think we were going to get her away from it!  Then Monday night we visited Ninnie and Poppy, and saw Uncle Phillip, Gage, and Ella too.  Here are lots of pic, starting with a few pics from last year.

Kitty Kate Halloween 2010.  She was 6 months old and couldn't quite sit up when I took these first 2 pics.  Look at those eyes!!!

These were Halloween night.  She had mastered sitting up by now!

The week of Halloween:

And now for Halloween 2011!  Mary might have had a little lamb, but we had the 2 most beautiful and precious lambs ever!!!  These are from "Trunk-or-Treat"

Aunt Julie with Lily lamb
Cousin Chance with Lily lamb.  She looooves Chance!
One "trunk" was decorated for Christmas and Lily Kate loved the rocking chair.
She sat in Santa's lap but wasn't impressed!

And Halloween night...   Gage (Angry Bird), Lily lamb, and Ella the cat.  Aren't they cute!

It's never easy getting good pics.  But we try.

Hope your Halloween was fun, and now I am ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!
